2024年1月22日、カナダ図書館協会連盟（CFLA）とトロント・メトロポリタン大学のCentre for Free Expression（CFE）が、カナダの図書館における図書館資料の閲覧制限等に関する申立ての事例をまとめた共同データベース“Library Challenges Database”におけるパートナーシップを発表しました。
“Library Challenges Database”は、CFEが2022年に公開した共同データベースです。図書館資料、図書館プログラム等に関してカナダ国内の図書館が受けた各申立てについて、資料名、申立て事由、要請内容、図書館側の措置等の情報が掲載されています。
パートナーシップにより、CFLAは匿名による申立ての記録を研究用として管理していくとしています。
