2025年9月10日、英国物理学会出版局（IOP Publishing）が、生成AIと査読に関する研究者の意識を調査した報告書“AI and Peer Review 2025 – Insights from the global reviewer”をウェブサイト上で公表しました。
同出版局が2024年に公表した、査読に関する調査報告書“State of peer review 2024”に続くものです。今回の調査では、物理学分野の研究者が査読におけるAIの活用をどのように捉えているか、2024年の調査で見られた傾向がどのように変化したのか等が検証されたとあります。
