2025年6月16日、図書館や学術機関等の発展と支援に従事する米国の非営利組織EveryLibrary Instituteが、米国における2020年以降の禁書の傾向を分析した報告書“The Censorship Acceleration: An Analysis of Book Ban Trends After 2020”を刊行したと発表しました。
発表によると、同報告書では、米国の学校や図書館における近年の禁書の規模や、禁書の背景にある政治的動機などが検証されているとあります。
