2025年4月10日、オープンアクセス学術出版協会（OASPA）が、プロジェクト“Next 50％”の立ち上げを発表しました。
オープンアクセス（OA）への移行プロセスの約半分は完了しているものの、残りの半分はまだ進んでいないとし、次の50％（“Next 50%”）に向けた合意形成と道筋を模索するための対話を行うとしています。OASPA会員等はワークショップを通して、またそれ以外の人はオンラインフォームを通してプロジェクトへの関心表明を行うことができます。
