2018年9月5日、米国図書館協会（ALA）の専門・政府・企業図書館部会（ASGCLA)が発足しました。
連邦政府および軍図書館に関するラウンドテーブル（FAFLRT）の廃止と専門・企業図書館部会（ASCLA）への合併により発足したものです。
