78の研究機関を抱えるドイツのMax Planck Societyは、昨年10月にSpringer社の電子ジャーナル購読契約を中止すると発表していましたが、長い交渉の結果、購読契約を継続することとなったと発表しています。
また、合わせてMax Planckの研究者の論文はOpen Choiceが適用され、ジャーナルの発行とともにオープンアクセスとなります。
