2022年5月16日、欧州連合（EU）と中南米カリブ海諸国共同体（Community of Latin American and Caribbean States：CELAC）の参加国により構成されるEU-LAC Foundationが、 “Policies, Practices, and Tools to Promote Open Science. Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union in Trans-regional Perspective”を公開しました。
欧州や中南米・カリブ諸国のオープンサイエンスに関し、2022年4月6日と4月7日に開催されたオンライン会議におけるプレゼンテーションや議論を基にまとめた資料です。学術文献や研究データのオープンアクセス（OA）における進歩や成果、課題や懸念事項、研究評価やオープンサイエンスの実践について記載されています。
