スペイン高等科学研究院（CSIC）が作成する世界リポジトリランキングの2019年7月版が公開されています。
公開されている4種類のランキングのうち、世界の機関リポジトリのランキング“TRANSPARENT RANKING: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar (July 2019)”によると、京都大学のリポジトリが4位、大阪大学のリポジトリが24位、北海道大学のリポジトリが43位、東北大学のリポジトリが109位、岡山大学のリポジトリが162位、一橋大学のリポジトリが169位、長崎大学のリポジトリが183位となっており、200位までに7の日本のリポジトリがランクインしています。
