スペイン高等科学研究院（CSIC）が作成する世界リポジトリランキングの2018年11月版が公開されています。
公開されている4種類のランキングのうち、世界の機関リポジトリのランキング“TRANSPARENT RANKING: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar (November 2018)”によると、京都大学のリポジトリが5位、大阪大学のリポジトリが32位、北海道大学のリポジトリが46位、東北大学のリポジトリが88位、慶應義塾大学のリポジトリが114位、筑波大学のリポジトリが131位、岡山大学のリポジトリが135位、金沢大学のリポジトリが144位となっており、150位までに8の日本のリポジトリがランクインしています。
