2015年3月23日、Springer社が、同社とフランスのジョセフ・フーリエ大学が、オープンソースソフトウェアSciDetectを開発したと発表しています。SciDetectは、SCIgen、Mathgen、Physgenといった自動論文生成ソフトで生成された“偽”の論文を検出することができるものです。同社は実際にワークフローのなかでSciDetectを使用しているそうです。
