2025年9月3日、北米の研究図書館協会（ARL）は、研究データ管理計画（DMP）に関する、カリフォルニア電子図書館（CDL）との共同プロジェクト“Machine Actionable Plans (MAP) Pilot”の成果をウェブサイト上で公開しました。
博物館・図書館サービス機構（IMLS）の助成を受けて、2023年に開始された試行プロジェクトで、機械可読なDMPであるmaDMPs（machine-actionable data management plans）を既存の大学のシステム等に組み入れるための方策を検証すること等を目的としたものです。
プロジェクトの成果として、プロジェクトの概要をまとめた報告書、プロジェクト参加機関のケーススタディ、maDMPsの導入を検討している機関向けの推奨ガイドが、ARLのウェブサイトで公開されています。
