2024年4月8日、米国図書館協会（ALA）が、米国図書館界の概況をまとめた報告書“State of America’s Libraries Report”の2025年版を公表しました。
全米図書館週間（National Library Week）に合わせて公表されたものです。報告書では、利用者のニーズに対応するための図書館の多様な取組、検閲の試みにより生じている問題等が取り上げられているほか、「2024年に利用制限申立ての多かった図書トップ10」（Top 10 Most Challenged Books of 2024）のリストも掲載されています。
