新規開館したシンガポールの公共図書館で2つの新サービスが導入される

2011年4月23日付けのシンガポール国立図書館委員会（National Library Board）のプレスリリースによると、同日新しく開館したClementi Public Libraryで2つの新サービスが導入されたとのことです。一つ目は、“Mystery Brown Bag Service”という、ランチタイムに図書館へ来館する利用者をターゲットとしたサービスで、事前に図書館員が人気のテーマに従って図書を選び、それを詰めたバッグを入口近くに設置することで、利用者はすぐに借りることができるというもののようです。また、もう一つのサービスは子ども向けのデジタルストーリーテリングである“Interactive Digital Storytelling Kiosks”のようです。なお、二つのサービスともシンガポールの公共図書館ではこれまでにないサービスとのことです。
