2011年6月23日付けのシンガポール国立図書館委員会（National Library Board）のニュースによると、NLBは、同国の読書推進キャンペーン“READ! Singapore 2011”の開催にあわせて、無料のiPhoneアプリ“MobileRead”を公開したようです。“MobileRead”では、“READ! Singapore 2011”および過去6年間のキャンペーンのために編まれた短編を、英語や中国語、マレー語等の多言語で読むことができるようです。
