米国の電子ジャーナルアーカイビング事業であるPorticoを運営している非営利法人Ithakaが、高等教育におけるデジタルへの移行（電子ジャーナル、電子書籍、デジタルリポジトリなど）が大学教員と図書館員に与える影響について調査した結果をまとめ、発表しました。なお、これは2006年の調査結果となっています。
