去る1月9日、ALA(米国図書館協議会)が、オンライン上の仮想都市コミュニティサイト“Second Life”に進出しましたが、ALAの下部組織であるYALSA（Young Adult Library Services Association）が、1月25日にSecond Life上で、ティーンへのサービスに関する講演会を企画しています。発表の内容は、脳の発育とティーンの行動、家と学校の間にどのようにティーンのスペースを作るかといった内容だそうです。
