2021年2月15日、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）の公共図書館分科会が、“IFLA/Systematic Public Library of the Year Award 2021”への応募の受付開始を発表しました。同賞は、同分科会および図書館建物および設備分科会、大都市図書館分科会で運営されています。
今回は、2019年および2020年に新築もしく図書館として改築された館が対象となります。応募の締め切りは5月1日です。
8月にオンラインで開催されるIFLAの年次大会で授賞式が行われます。
