Library Technology Guidesを運営するブリーディング（Marshall Breeding）氏による、図書館システムに関する国際調査の第10回目となる2016年版の結果が公表されています。4,042図書館から回答が得られています。
WorldShare Management ServicesやAlmaなど図書館サービスプラットフォームを実装している図書館からは成果と不満が報告されており、Aleph、Voyager、Millenniumなどの製品は、電子リソースと冊子体の管理に図書館の期待を満たしていないと認識されているとのことです。オープンソースの製品は、プロプライエタリな製品と同様の満足度を達成しているとのことです。
