国際公文書館会議（ICA）のExpert Group on Archival Description（EGAD）が、アーカイブズにおける新しい記述標準の概念モデルRecords in Contexts-Conceptual Model（RiC-CM）のドラフトを公開して、意見を募集しています。
EGADは2012年以降、アーカイブズにおける新しい記述標準であるRecords in Contexts（RiC）の検討を進めてきました。2016年9月に開催された第18回ICAソウル大会ではその概要が発表されました。
このRiCは、概念モデルであるRiC-CMとオントロジーであるRiC-Oで構成されており、既存の次の4つの標準を統合することを意図しています。
・General International Standard Archival Description (ISAD(G))
・International Standard Archival Authority Records—Corporate Bodies, Persons, and Families (ISAAR(CPF))
・International Standard Description of Functions (ISDF)
・International Standard Description of Institutions with Archival Holdings (ISDIAH)
意見の募集期間は、当初2016年12月31日まででしたが、延長されて2017年1月31日までとなっています。
