米国・クイーンズ図書館(ニューヨーク)、今夏、小学校高学年・中学生向けプログラミング講座を開講：Googleとの連携

米国ニューヨーク市のクイーンズ図書館（Queens Library）のChildren’s Library Discovery Centerは、Googleと連携し、今夏、小学校高学年・中学生（4年生から8年生）向けプログラミング講座を実施します。

Googleの、コンピューターサイエンス（CS）教育に関する課外プログラム“Google CS First”の一環で、クイーンズ図書館の26の分館で、MITメディアラボが開発した子供向けプログラミング言語Scratchを用いてコンピュータサイエンスを学ぶものです。

テーマは、アニメーション、アート、ファッション＆デザイン、フレンズ、ゲームデザイン、ミュージック＆サウンド、ストーリーテリングの7つです。
