2015年11月6日、RDA開発・運営を担う組織である、合同運営委員会（Joint Steering Committee：JSC）の会合が開かれ、主要委員会（Committee of Principals）および合同運営委員会（Joint Steering Committee：JSC）が解消となり、それぞれ、RDA役員会（RDA Board）、RDA運営委員会（RDA Steering Committee：RSC）という名称となりました。リニューアルされたRSCのウェブサイトも公開されています。
この改組は、8月に発表された“Transition to the new RDA governance structure”に沿ったもので、2019年まで管理体制の移行は段階的に行われる予定とのことです。
RSCは、アフリカ、アジア、欧州、ラテンアメリカ・カリブ、北米、オセアニアの代表者で構成されるようです。
