2014年4月2日、Neil Beagrie氏らによる研究データ共有についての価値や影響を調査したレポート“The Value and Impact of Data Sharing and Curation”が公開されました。このレポートは、英国の研究データセンターとして実績を持つ機関であり、社会科学、人文学、環境科学といったそれぞれの学問分野を主な対象とする、the Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS)、the Archaeology Data Service (ADS) 、the British Atmospheric Data Centre (BADC)の3つの機関における研究データの収集方法、研究データの共有とキュレーションの価値、影響についての評価をまとめ、提言を行ったものとのことです。
