2013年11月11日、生涯投稿料モデルのオープンアクセス誌“PeerJ”は、生物学・医学のためのプレプリントサーバーである“PeerJ Preprints”への無料でのプレプリント投稿の回数制限をなくすことを発表しました。これまでは、PeerJ誌へ生涯投稿料を支払った会員のプレプリント投稿数は無制限でしたが、無料での投稿には年に1論文の制限があったとのことです。
