2013年5月10日、米国図書館協会（ALA）、北米研究図書館協会（ARL）、大学・研究図書館協会（ACRL）から構成される“Library Copyright Alliance”（LCA）が、米国と欧州の“Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership” (TTIP)に関する米国の交渉姿勢についてコメントを発表しました。コメントの中でLCAは、TTIPでの知的所有権交渉への試みの妥当性に対する疑問等を述べています。
