英国図書館（BL）のウェブサイト上で、コレクションのメタデータに関する2023年から2030年までの戦略“Sustainability through change”が公開されています。
これまでの同館のメタデータに関する戦略“Unlocking the Value”“Foundations for the Future”を引き継ぐものです。優先的に取り組む事項として、「中核的な目的の達成（Delivering core purposes）」「メタデータの公開とアクセス障壁の除去（Opening our metadata and removing barriers to access）」「職員の能力開発（Enabling our people）」の三点が示されています。
