2012年6月5日、米国の大学・研究図書館協会（ACRL）が、“Connect, Collaborate, and Communicate: A Report from the Value of Academic Libraries Summits”と題した白書を刊行しました。この白書は、2010年にACRLが刊行した“The Value of Academic Libraries: A Comprehensive Research Review and Report”に対する応答として、2011年11月29日から12月1日にかけてACRL等が開催した、2つの全米規模の会議の内容とともに、図書館や図書館員への提言等がまとめられています。
