2011年9月15日に、Googleブックス訴訟の和解についての協議状況を確認するためのヒアリングがニューヨークで開催されました。2011年3月に和解案が裁判所に却下されて以来、関係者間の協議が続いているものですが、今回も明確な結論は出なかった模様です。報道によると、訴訟当事者側からは和解に向けて進捗があったとの報告があったとのことですが、一方で、訴訟プロセス再開に向けた公判前手続きのスケジュールが決定され、和解が成立しない場合は訴訟が再開されることになるようです。
