英サウサンプトン大学（University of Southampton）は、4月4日、全学部を対象とした、論文など研究成果のセルフアーカイブ（=リポジトリへの登録）の義務化（mandate）方針を採択したと発表しました。英国初となるそうです。
また、4月9日にはスターリング大学（University of Stirling）もセルフアーカイブの義務化方針を採択したと発表しています。こちらはスコットランド初となるそうです。
