トロント公共図書館が、地域の美術館、博物館等とともに、新しい連携プログラムを発表しています。
トロント公共図書館（分館含む）の図書館カードを持っている利用者は、本やＣＤを借りるように、地域の美術館や画廊などを無料で利用できる“Sun Life Financial Museum and Arts Pass (MAP)”を借りることができるというものです。MAPの貸出開始は7月3日からで、現在、この“MAP”の対象機関となっているのは、Art Gallery Ontario、The Bata Shoe Museum、Gardiner Museum、Royal Ontario Museum、Textile Museum of Canada、City of Toronto’s Historic Museumsの6館ですが、今後順次拡大していくとのことです。
