2016年4月7日、トロント公共図書館（カナダ）のパークデール分館で、楽器を貸し出すプログラムが開始されました。
各種アコースティックギター、ベース、ウクレレ、バンジョー、バイオリンなどといった弦楽器のほか、ボンゴ、ジェンベなどの打楽器、キーボードなど様々な楽器が貸し出され、CBCの報じるところによると、その数は100以上とのことです。
カナダの金融機関・Sun Life Financialの支援をうけたプログラムで、楽器の寄付も受け付けています。
