2022年9月1日、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）が、オープンアクセス（OA）に関する2022年版の声明“10 years of the IFLA open access statement: a call to action”の公開を発表しました。
同声明は、2011年の声明“IFLA Statement on Open Access – Clarifying IFLA’s position and strategy”を更新したものであると述べられています。声明の中では、IFLAとそのメンバーが今後取り組むこととして、OAの権利に関する側面や表現の自由・知的自由への貢献についての認識向上、権利保持や市民の役割等に関する国際レベルのアドヴォカシー、OAインフラへの持続可能な投資のための協力等が挙げられています。
