米国議会図書館（LC）が、長期保存のための推奨フォーマットのガイド“Recommended Formats Statement”の2021-2022年版を公開しています。
同ガイドは年1回更新されており、2020-2021年版から、コンテンツ分類“GIS, Geospatial and Non-GIS Cartographic”等で改訂が行われました。
