2023年6月27日付けで、米国議会図書館（LC）が、長期保存のための推奨フォーマットのガイド“Recommended Formats Statement”の2023-2024年版を公開していました。
2023-2024年版では、「ソフトウェア及び電子ゲーム」（Software and Video Games）と「ウェブアーカイブ」（Web Archives）の章に大きな変更があるとし、「静止画資料」（Still Image Works）と「デザイン及び3D」（Design and 3D）にも変更があるとしています。
