2019年3月1日、研究者向けのSNS・ResearchGateとSpringer Nature社が、2017年11月以降のNature誌掲載の一部全文記事を、3月7日までにResearchGateの研究者個人のプロフィール画面上で公開試行し、閲覧・ダウンロードを可能とすると発表しました。
同試行では、研究者がネットワークの共同の力を利用し、学術成果の視認性と発見可能性を高め、プラットフォームをまたいでの影響を測定できるようもするとしています。
