2017年8月2日、OCLC Researchが、2016年10月に、米・ケンブリッジのNorton’s Woods Conference Centerで、研究図書館における「研究コレクション」を再検討すること目的に、図書館の担当者や研究者が集まって行なわれたシンポジウムの報告書“The Transformation of Academic Library Collecting: A Synthesis of the Harvard Library’s Hazen Memorial Symposium”を刊行しました。
研究図書館のコレクション、特に共同コレクションの将来や、伝統的に特殊コレクション・アーカイブコレクションと呼ばれてきたコレクションの再検討をテーマとした発表や参加者による議論をまとめたものとなっています。
