2016年12月12日、米国の図書館情報資源振興財団（CLIR）が報告書“Keepers of Our Digital Future: An Assessment of the National Digital Stewardship Residencies, 2013-2016”を公開しました。
同報告書は、デジタル資料の管理に携わる研究員や図書館員の専門性を高めるために、米国議会図書館（LC）が、修士号取得者を対象に2013年から行なっているNational Digital Stewardship Residency （NDSR）プログラムの、2013年から2016年の参加者や監督者を対象にした調査及びインタビューに基づいたもので、同プログラムに対する評価を示すとともに、同様な取組みが全国展開されるように設計されたNDSRの今後の課題についても指摘されています。
