Pew Research Centerの Internet, Science & Tech部門が、米国人一般が、地域学習のサポート、退役軍人・移民の支援や、ビジネス支援、3Dプリンターなどの新しい技術の提供といった図書館に期待するものを調査した報告書“Libraries at the Crossroads”を発表しました。
同報告書では、過去数年間で図書館の資源を利用した米国人の割合が減少していることを述べていますが、必ずしも目立った傾向ではないとのことです。
