2026年7月3日、カナダの研究成果の普及とデジタル学術出版の推進を目的としたイニシアチブ“Coalition Publica”のウェブサイトにおいて、Coalition Publica、オンタリオ州立大学図書館コンソーシアム（OCUL）及びトロント大学図書館が、カナダの持続的な学術基盤に向けた協力協定を締結したことが発表されました。
長年にわたる協力関係を正式な枠組みへと発展させるもので、今後は、主要な学術プラットフォーム間の相互運用性向上や、メタデータ及び永続的識別子（PID）の整備、既存のストレージや保存サービスを活用した研究成果へのアクセシビリティの確保等が進められるとあります。協定は、Coalition Publicaが、ダイヤモンドOAのための全国的なコミュニティ主導型インフラとして発展してきていることを反映したものとされています。
