2015年1月5日、東亜図書館協会（CEAL）が、北米における東アジア研究の基盤強化を目指し、蔵書構築等の課題解決に取り組むプログラムについて、アンドリュー・メロン財団から28万8,000ドルの助成を得ることが決定したと発表しています。2015年1月15日には、プログラムの提案の募集が開始されています。
