2026年2月17日、英国においてリテラシーの改善に取り組む慈善団体National Literacy Trust（NLT）が、10代における読書習慣の変化や読書への認識等についての報告書“Teenage reading: (Re)framing the challenge”を公表しました。
報告書では、同国の11歳から16歳までの子どもと若者8万人以上が回答した調査“2025 Annual Literacy Survey”で収集されたデータを基に、これらの年代が読書において重視することや読書習慣の維持を阻んでいる要因等が分析されているとあります。
