2026年2月23日、国際標準名称識別子（International Standard Name Identifier：ISNI）を管理しているISNI国際機関（ISNI International Agency）が、ISNIに関するガイダンス“The Benefits of ISNI for Authors & Book Industry Contributors”をウェブサイト上で公開しました。
出版業界のデジタル化やグローバル化が進む中、著者やクリエイター向けにISNI導入の利点を解説したもので、出版社、図書館、書店等の出版関係者から成るグループISNI Book Publishing Consultation Groupの協力の下作成されたとあります。
