2026年2月4日、米・ノースカロライナ大学チャペルヒル校が、同大学のDavis Library内に、AIに関する支援や指導を提供するスペース“Library AI Studio”を正式に開設したことを発表しました。
Library AI Studioは、生成AIに関心を持つ学習者が、スキルのレベルを問わず、複数のAIツールを試したり学ぶことのできる場とあります。図書館及びキャンパスにおける生成AIサービスの拠点として、AIの専門知識を持つスタッフが配置され、ワークショップ、トレーニング、相談サービス等が提供されるとしています。
