2026年1月14日、米国議会図書館（LC）と米国政府出版局（GPO）は、連邦議会による報告書・文書をまとめた“U.S. Congressional Serial Set”のデジタル化資料の公開が1万巻に到達したことを発表しました。
デジタル化資料は、GPOが運営する政府情報に関するデータベース“GovInfo”で閲覧できます。
両機関は、同資料を1817年に発行された第1巻まで遡ってデジタル化し公開する取組を行っています。今回の公開はその一環で、18万5,000点を超える政府文書と報告書が含まれているとあります。また、約6,000巻が未提供で、そのうち約2,000巻を2026年中に公開予定としています。
