2014年6月11日、英国の7つの研究会議が、その資金を提供した研究の成果を統一のプラットフォーム“Researchfish”で保存することを発表しました。
参加するのは、英国芸術・人文科学研究会議（Arts and Humanities Research Council：AHRC)、バイオテクノロジー・生物学研究会議（Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council：BBSRC)、工学物理学研究会議（Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council：EPSRC）、経済社会研究会議（Economic and Social Research Council：ESRC）, 自然環境研究会議（Natural Environment Research Council）、科学技術施設会議（Science & Technology Facilities Council）、医療研究会議（Medical Research Council）の7つです。
このうち、科学技術施設会議、医療研究会議は2009年から同プラットフォームの開発に関与しており、このたび、その他の5つの研究会議が参加したとのことです。
