2014年2月28日、米国地質調査所（USGS）が“National Atlas”と“National Map”を統合し、地理空間情報と地図情報についての単一の情報源へと移行することを発表しました。統合の結果、“National Atlas”は2014年9月30日で終了することを予定しているとのことです。現在“National Atlas”で提供されている9つの製品・サービスの終了や継続に関する情報がウェブサイトに掲載されています。
