2025年5月13日付けで、ドイツにおける図書館関連団体及び情報学関連団体の上部機関であるドイツの図書館と情報（Bibliothek & Information Deutschland：BID）と、その加盟協会である図書館・情報専門家協会（Berufsverband Information Bibliothek: BIB）、ドイツ図書館協会（Deutsche Bibliotheksverband: dbv）、ドイツ図書館員協会（Verein Deutscher Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare: VDB）が連名で声明を発表しました。
・イタリア
2025年5月14日付けで、イタリア図書館協会（Associazione Italiana Biblioteche: AIB）が、AIB会長（Laura Ballestra氏）の声明を発表しました。
いずれも、米国の図書館関係者等への支援や連帯などを表明しています。
