2025年4月28日、国際図書館連盟（IFLA）が、「IFLA/UNESCO学校図書館宣言」（IFLA-UNESCO School Library Manifesto）の改訂版の公開を発表しました。
1999年の宣言（IFLA/UNESCO School Library Manifesto: The school library in teaching and learning for all）が改訂されたものです。2023年4月17日にIFLA運営理事会において、そして2025年4月24日のユネスコ“Information for All Programme”（みんなのための情報計画）政府間理事会（Intergovernmental Counsil）の会合において承認されました。
