2025年1月30日、英国国立公文書館（TNA）とArchives and Records Association (UK & Ireland)が、予測不能な事態等に対応して迅速に資料を収集する“rapid response collecting”に関するアーキビスト向けのガイダンスを公開したと発表しました。
自然災害やパンデミックなど、突発的で予測不能なあるいは未曾有の事態が発生した際に、資料の収集活動に従事するアーキビストに対して、取り得るアプローチや実践的なアドバイスを提供するものとあります。
