PLoS（Public Library of Science）が2012年3月にウェブサイト“PLoS Currents”で使用しているプラットフォームを“Annotum”というオープンソースソフトウェアに更新しました。Annotumは、WordPressベースの学術向けオーサリングプラットフォームで、Googleが2011年11月に打ち切りを発表した知識共有サービス“Knol”を引き継いだプロジェクトです。
