英国物理学会（IOP）の出版部門（IOP Publishing）が提供する電子ジャーナルプラットフォーム“IOPsciece”で“article evolution”というプログラムが開始されたそうです。これは、IOPscience上のオンライン論文に対して、画像の拡大（とPowerPointへのエクスポート）機能、映像によるアブストラクト、数式表示エンジン“MathJax”の導入などの新機能が導入されるという内容のようです。まずは、“Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical”と“Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter”の2誌に対して導入され、その他のジャーナルに対しても2012年から適用されるとのことです。
